Kudos

I do not care what end of the political spectrum you sit on.

I do not care how you feel about the Iraq War.

Nor George W. Bush

Nor America.

Kudos needs to be given to the People of Iraq - for standing up to terror and proclaiming to the world that they are brave and that they want Freedom and Democracy. For Voting.

They have my utmost respect.

Now if we could just get Americans to vote.

And they didn't need MTV to get them out there "rockin' the Vote."

It takes strength to stand up like that. Good for them.

dennis - right on target, bro

viczilla - you're saying that because they went out, stared terror and murder in the face, and voted because it's their RIGHT and are fighting for FREEDOM, that they are lazy?

if you do think that - i think that's an ignorant view, and seriously misguided
and i'd be willing to bet these people care a great deal about who gets elected
my money's on the idea that things do change in Iraq

I agree. If these people didn't truly want and believe in freedom and democracy, they would never have risked their lives to vote.
